The bike path is a 2.5 miles trail that begins at State Street and travels south to Crown Point, Indiana. The trail is a great place for running, biking or rollerblading. During your activity you will enjoy the pristine surroundings, including some of the most diverse prairie and wetland vegetation. 

The Burnham Greenway is a joint project between the Calumet Memorial Park District, the Cook County Forest Preserve, the Chicago Park District and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and is a part of the Illinois Grand Trail.
