The Calumet Memorial Park District was established for the purpose of providing programs and facilities that are of a quality that will enhance an individual’s physical and emotional health, cultural and intellectual development and fulfill a social need.
Our mission is to provide a wide variety of year-round recreation programs, facilities, parks, open space and natural areas that respond to the articulated needs and desires of residents. The Calumet Memorial Park District boundaries encompass the communities of Calumet City and Burnham, as well as eastern portions of Dolton and South Holland, Illinois.
As you turn the pages in our program catalog, you’ll see that we’re living up to the principle – programs for all ages! I encourage you to give a program a try, particularly if it’s an activity you’ve never done before. After all, if the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that life is precious, and we ought to fill it with as many new experiences as we can.
There’s something for everyone here at the Calumet Memorial Park District! Our various facilities offer miniature golf, a splash pad, batting cages, golf driving cages, concessions, sand play, picnic areas, trails, a pool, a variety of sporting fields, and more!
