Finneran Pool includes swimming pool, tot pool, 127' water slide, splash pad, sand volleyball, diving board and concession area.

Finneran Pool includes a 127-foot water slide, a splash play area, a diving area, a tot-sand play area, and sand volleyball. It also includes a grass sunbathing area and a concession stand. The pool is located on the corner of Lincoln Avenue & Freeland Avenue. (Nearby 163rd Street & Burnham Avenue and continue east on 163rd to Lincoln and continue southeast until Freeland Avenue.)

The pool will close in the event of:

  • Air temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit or less
  • Low attendanceMechanical failure
  • Special Events
  • Any situation that could threaten the safety of our patrons or staff

A pass entitles the holder to swim at no daily charge when the pool is open to the general public. You MUST show your pass to enter the pool at any time.Passes are photo ID’s. You MUST register in person and have your photo taken.Proof of residency is required at registration. If you are not a district resident, you will be charged non-resident rates. Proof for adults includes a valid Illinois driver’s license with proof of residency.Pass registration begins in May at Memorial Park from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
