It is the intention of the park district to develop, plan, implement and administer a comprehensive loss prevention program. Public and staff safety is our greatest responsibility, and in our assignments the health and safety of all are of the utmost consideration. This policy has been established to emphasize that effective loss prevention is an integral part of management procedures to fully utilize the park district's capital and personnel. Although profit is not a park district goal per se, the same efficiency is desired to ensure maximum usage of each tax dollar.
